Andrew Buckland develops the strategy and drives the deployment of cutting-edge technology in GM’s plants around the globe.  As a Controls Engineer, a global robotics SME, and Strategy & Planning Manager, he developed innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges.  This background gives him a unique skillset and more than 25 years of experience in designing, building, and running automation solutions.  Now, as the Advanced Technology and Smart Manufacturing Manager,  he not only defines how to transform General Motors’ manufacturing business, but makes it a reality.
