Biography
Christine began her career at LabCorp, managing laboratory staff for HIV and HCV sample processing. She has extensive experience across industries including medical diagnostics, chemical distribution, biotech, and energy. At Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD), she led West Coast teams for four biotech companies, overseeing client relationships, billing, business development, and laboratory personnel. As VP of Operations at Emerald Cloud Lab, Christine expanded the team from ~30 to 130 members in six months, managed lab operations, inventory, logistics, and built a training department from the ground up. Currently, as Director of Operations at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, she oversees facilities, lab operations, and logistics, supporting collaborative research across various technology platforms. Christine holds a B.S. in Bio-Chemical Engineering from UC Davis and an MBA from Pepperdine University, with additional certificates from Oxford University and the University of Dublin. She has hands-on experience in leading lab moves and build outs in both startup and academic/R&D settings, managing complex contracts, and tackling challenges related to contractors, timelines, and budgeting. Additionally, Christine serves on the advisory board for the University of San Francisco’s School of Management and is a member of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Community Fund Review, reflecting her commitment to social change and improving health outcomes.
