Biography

Paul Adams joined Martinrea International Inc. as Global Director of Lean Manufacturing in April 2021. In his role, Paul is responsible for improving business conditions through the implementation of Lean deployment and cultivating an environment that encourages others to do the same.

Prior to Martinrea International Inc., Adams began his professional career at Toyota as a Production Engineer. Throughout his impressive 25-year career at Toyota, he held multiple positions rotating through the Paint Department, management positions in production, new model development, new color development and the initiation of new plant startups.

Adams also gained valuable experience during his three years in the Operations Management Development group. In this role, he learned, taught, and implemented principles of the Toyota Production system. The key objectives being to improve business conditions while developing others in the philosophies of Lean Manufacturing.
